The Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) hospital system invites Family Medicine Physicians to apply for a full-time Family Medicine Residency Program Director Physician opportunity. The ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program is in picturesque Manchester, Connecticut. The faculty program is in its eleventh year of advanced teaching. Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s outstanding community-focused site provides expert clinical and academic training, supported by a collaborative and stellar team of five core faculty physicians. The Family Medicine Program Director will lead the Family Medicine Residency in administrative operations and clinical outpatient supervision with the assistant program director and faculty. This is a 3-year program with 7 residents per year. You will find top quality care with adherence to evidence-based medicine, a strong multidisciplinary team approach, and a rewarding-supportive work environment that promotes work-life balance. Eastern Connecticut Health Network has an academic affiliation with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Medical students in their third and fourth year receive clinical education at both Manchester Memorial and Rockville General hospitals and many of ECHN's primary care practice sites. Requirements:
- Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with preferred 2 years of core faculty, program director, or assistant program director experience or related academic leadership experience
- Connecticut Licensed, Federal DEA, and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) or soon eligible
