Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo, Department of Family and Community Medicine, is seeking a board-certified family physician to join our full-time faculty.  We offer required clerkship and elective rotation experiences to third and fourth year medical students, and have a strong, fully accredited family and community medicine residency program.  Responsibilities include direct patient care in our modern clinical facility; attending on our adult and pediatric teaching services at our local community hospitals; resident and medical student teaching and mentoring; and mid-level oversight.  Opportunities for collaborative practice, teaching, research, and joint appointment with our School of Pharmacy are also available.  Salary is commensurate with experience; opportunities for additional compensation. Sign-on bonus and moving allowance will be considered. 

Ideal candidate will be passionate about Family Medicine, seeking to provide excellent Primary Care to our patients and Education to our medical students and residents.  Comfort and confidence in the inpatient setting are important, and procedural skills and experience are desirable. 

Qualifications:  Eligible for full unrestricted Texas Medical license, full federal DEA, Board C/E in FM, State Medical license record showing no disciplinary actions in past 10 years.
