Rheumatologist Physician
The Rheumatology Physician (MD/DO) is administratively responsible to the Chief of Medicine. Clinical oversight is provided by the collaborating physician, Section Chief, Rheumatology. The physician, as a member of the department, communicates with other healthcare providers to manage consults and additional services as required. Duties include but are not limited to: Clinical practice, supervising and teaching fellows, residents and medical students in the specialty of Rheumatology. The physician is responsible for providing consultation to non- rheumatology services for hospitalized patients with rheumatology concerns.
