Fairview Health Services is seeking a Medical Director for an exciting opportunity for a leadership role with Fairview Clinics Unscheduled Care (Urgent/Walk-in Care, Express Care and Virtual Care). The position’s overall leadership responsibility will focus on operational integration and lead the expansion of virtual care services. The provider will work a combination of clinical practice part time and leadership responsibilities part time. They will join our growing unscheduled care practice seeing patients at our eight urgent care and two walk-in care locations in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and surrounding suburbs. The opportunity offers a flexible schedule.
Day to day responsibilities will also include clinical quality improvement, medical staff development, provider engagement, representing Unscheduled Care in pertinent internal and external meetings and coordinating with site administrative teams on related matters.
The Physician Clinic Lead will work closely with the Clinic Administrator for Unscheduled Care to assure that systems and processes that support the patient/provider, the clinical encounter and the overall patient experience are performing at a high level of proficiency.
Management responsibility for core Urgent Care providers.
A team of 28 urgent care providers.
Patient encounters average 25-30 patients per day in an 8 hour shift.
No Call required.
