Providence Health & Services - Washington d/b/a Physician Management Group desires to employ a Rheumatology Physician in Spokane, Washington. The Rheumatology Physician provides diagnostic treatment of musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions. The Rheumatology Physician will primarily work at the outpatient Rheumatology office at the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center Campus in Spokane, Washington. The Rheumatology Physician will occasionally (less than 10%) see inpatients at Providence's two hospitals in Spokane, Washington: Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital. Specifically, the Rheumatology Physician's duties shall include:* Examine and diagnose disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system.* Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.* Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.* Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.* Recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition.* Take call on a regular basis.* Prepare and maintain records, write reports and respond to correspondence.* Apply Knowledge of professional medical theory , regulations and practices to give and evaluate patient care* Apply and modify the principles, methods and techniques of medical theory to provide ongoing patient care.* Identify problems and recommend solutions.* Maintain quality control standards.* Approximately 5% of time will be spent teaching and training a medical resident through the Rheumatology rotation. * Perform other duties relating to the program as requested by physician division/ hospital administration. Minimum Requirements:* Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent.* Completion of a three-year Residency program in Internal Medicine.* Completion of a 12 month Fellowship program in Geriatric Medicine.* Completion of a 24 month Fellowship program in Rheumatology.* Board Certification in Internal Medicine.* Board Eligibility in Geriatric Medicine.* Washington State Medical License.* One year previous leadership experience.* Experience in teaching and training community health workers.* To apply, or for more details, please contact Mark Rearrick at  email@example.com or (509) 474-6605.
